3-2. Just inside the pillars, to the left is one of the arches from the older structure.  This arch is the same as the one in the postcard photo on Photogallery Page 1.

3-3. Hall leading to Rachel's cenotaph.  On the left is the arch  that was once bricked up.  This is the bricked-up arch with a window in the postcard picture of Photogallery Page 1.

3-4. On the right is an arch from the original structure which served as an outer wall untill the modern structure was built putting that arch inside. 

3-5. Plaques near Rachel's cenotaph.  These date from the time of Montifeori's addition.


 

3-6. This cistern was provided by the Jewish community of 
Bombay, India.
